20 Year Vision

In twenty years I have absolutely no idea where I'll be. I know where I hope I'll be, but what are the chances of that happening? I mean, things rarely pan out the way you want them to. In 2034 I hope that I will be a successful businessman and/or inventor. I want to have multiple business interests generating a healthy cash flow that I can subsist on and invest with. I have a few different ideas for businesses that I believe could be very successful. I hope to have my own home by then, too, and ideally, that home would be in the middle of the woods, where I could work in peace and no irritating people would bother me. Also, I want to have a paintball field next to my home, so I could paintball whenever I wanted.

When I'm 37, I want to explore the world. It's the perfect time, I think (assuming my plans work out). I'll have enough money to pretty much do whatever I wanted and I'll be fit enough (i.e. not too old) to do all the awesome things I want to do. Awesome things like skydiving, cave spelunking, month long camping trips, backpacking across Europe, or whatever else I think would be fun. The key to my success is being able to make my business(es) self-sustainable, so they can continue to grow without me having to actively work to make that happen. This won't be easy, but I believe I can do it. The biggest challenge I face in my future is getting my first business off the ground. The first one will be the hardest because I won't have very much of my own capital, and I'll be inexperienced, and therefore probably make more mistakes. I'll have to do it early in my life, when I still have my ambition, energy, and college connections.I want to live a full life that I won't regret. I want to be happy and worry free and have fun, and I want to make enough money to not have to worry about money any more.
